The updated Starboard All Star iSUP race board now features the all-new Quick Tension System, designed to easily adjust our patented Airline Technology on Deluxe construction boards — a tensioned aramid cord running the length of the hull, covered by a carbon stringer for increased stiffness, stability, and responsive reflex. The response sensation you expect from a race board is ensured by the patented free-flowing aramid cable that acts as a spring when it comes under tension when the board is inflated.
The bottom carbon stringer further increases stiffness.
Sharing the main aspects of the composite race board’s outline, the All star has been equipped with the standing EVA Side Trays to give you that extra control and balance when rail steering and in chop.
You also get the Edge Release Technology for drag reduction, the beach start carry handles and FCS mounts for tracking devices, this is the board for serious performance
PRODUCT FEATURES
- Airline Technology: The free-flowing aramid cable locks the board in shape when inflated, creating a solid trustworthy hull sensation. The patented Airline Technology utilises a pre-set free-floating cable. It is attached to the nose, goes under the bottom and ends at the fin box. The preset cable is slightly shorter than the board so, when the board inflates, the cable comes under tension and stiffens the board significantly. We measured 1.8 cm less hull deflection in testing and World Champion Connor Baxter swears by it.

- Twin Carbon Stringers - Deck: Positioned on the deck to increase the stiffness.
- Race Handles: Get an early lead with additional handles positioned for Tech/ beach race starts.
- Fin Set Up: The Airline fin box anchors the cable at the tail of the board, ensuring tighter rigging. The board comes with a Race 23″ Net Positive fin.
- FCS Insert: Attach accessories like a GoPro, phone holder, compass or GPS. STAR Mount is supplied with every board to attach further accessories.
- Bungee Tie Down: Bungee in front of the standing area for storing gear and supplies so you can stay out on the water for longer. Essential for expeditions and long-distance paddles.
- EVA Standing Tray: Helps to hold wider stance for extra stability and helps recover balance with the EVA to push against. Provides more control to lean on the rail to steer the board from the midpoint. Creates a dug out standing which makes it more versatile to paddle in choppy water as the water. Made with EVA so they are lightweight, soft to stand against and flexible when packing.
- Carbon Center Stringer - Hull: Increases the stiffness and reflex sensation of the board, while covering the floating cable and creating a smooth surface.
- Rail Edge: Creates a sharp edge for the water to release smoothly for optimal glide and speed.
- Nose Cone: Guides the cable at the bow’s center line, while creating the perfect nose shape. Made from up-cycled fishing nets.
- Welded Rail Technology: The Welded Rail Technology creates a completely airtight, mechanically bonded seam without the risk of glue weakening over time. This makes Starboard inflatable paddle boards stronger and longer lasting.
- Leash, Pump and Bag Included: Lightweight leash, double action Tiki pump and re-cover wheely bag are included with every board. Due to the EVA Side walls, the All Star must be folded instead of rolling, so the bag is made wider and shorter. Easy and fast to pack, whilst preserving the shape of the Side Walls.
