The 2025 Downwinder SLS shapes, crafted by Finn and Jeffrey Spencer, deliver improved acceleration and faster release for earlier take-offs, raising the bar for Downwind and light wind Wing Foiling. These designs combine refined efficiency with outstanding stability, offering a compact yet effective ride ideal for SUP Downwinders or light wind Wing Foiling on smaller, steeper waves. Slightly longer and narrower than earlier versions, they ensure smooth glide and rapid acceleration, making them suitable for both beginners and experienced Downwind riders.
The Downwinder SLS features a low rocker and sharp pin tail to help you get airborne quickly. Its smooth bottom contours and single concave entry ensure gentle landings, while the pronounced rail bevels and crisp edges at the rear offer excellent stability. A slightly lower deck enhances your connection to the foil, and extended carbon foil tracks provide versatility for various foil types without adding weight. This board uses Carbon Custom Sandwich technology for stability, making it ideal for SUP Downwinders and Wing Foiling in light wind conditions.
