Warmer: Via Yamamoto’s OG Optimum Technology – a perfectly uniform closed-cell structure that looks like tiny hexagons and is 99% water impermeable (compared to the standard 65% via oil-derived neoprene). Unlike “factory-pricing” knock-off’s, OG Optimum Technology is also enhanced by Ti-Alpha (Titanium-Alpha): a unique titanium alloy between the rubber & nylon that reflects body heat back inwards -- better balancing the body’s thermostatic line
- Lighter: Because of the water that your suit doesn’t absorb (and via the most tear-resistant, pill-proof & hydrophobic 4-way stretch nylon in the game – also excellent for kiteboard harnesses). Ask anyone that knows their wetsuits: Ultra-low water absorption makes for a quick-drying wetsuit (always preferable for the next session). Just like a tighter-fit in the dressing room most often translates to more functional suit in the water (with your suit breaking-in over time)
- More Sustainable: Slowing down over-consumption via a premium wetsuit that represents durable performance. Made via longer-lasting limestone-based rubber that is derived from a Japanese source of calcium carbonate with several thousand years of readily available deposits
- More Flexible: Yamamoto's Titanium coated OG Optimum Technology rubber stretches over 355% its size – while maintaining excellent elastic memory. In other words, after the first few sessions, a 00 BY XIIIG wetsuit “breaks-in” like a baseball glove & adjusting its shape to the user's silhouette

- Pill Proof Nylon: 00 BY XIIIG exclusively uses a premium nylon that minimizes water adsorption & does not pill or fray. This material significantly adds to wetsuit longevity – maintaining overall shape & memory. This nylon negates the need for a fuzzy hollow-fiber lining (which inevitably absorbs water – increasing weight & evaporative heat loss).
