The Alpha Reverse 3/2 Twin + 1 is designed to surf your favorite twin board at full throttle.
The Reverse 3/2 is a speed controlling fin that maximizes water attachment over multiple planing surfaces, resulting in more lift and power through turns. The Vector foil provides a speed generating feel, while the reversed twist in the upper half of the fin delivers a powerful connection to the wave. These fins work best in average to powerful surf. You will get all the benefits of a twin fin feel, paired with the confidence to push as hard as you want all while staying engaged and driving through your turns at mach speed.
- Cant at the fin base is 4 degrees, transitioning to 7 degrees at the tip = looser.
- Toe at the fin base is in respect to the box placement, transitioning to 2 degrees less at the tip = tight, engaged.
- Vector Foil = Speed Controlling and locked in feel.
- Scimitar Tip = Enhanced pivot and release.
Made in Huntington Beach, the Alpha construction combines Bureo’s NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Futures’ Compound 6 (C6) carbon and air infused technology.
WHAT IS A VECTOR FOIL
It is a proprietary Futures foil with a concave surface on the inside of the front fins, increasing surface area, water attachment, and lift.
WHAT IS A REVERSE 3/2
The Reverse 3/2 complements the Vector foil with an extra 3 degrees of cant and 2 degrees of outward toe towards the rail, creating a twist to the foil that keeps the fin engaged through turns.
PERFORMANCE BENEFITS OF THE VECTOR REVERSE 3/2
The Vector Reverse 3/2 is a Speed Controlling fin, maximizing water attachment over multiple planning surfaces, resulting in lift and hold. This unique foil keeps the fin engaged as you progress through your turns, creating tons of speed as you exit your turn.
BENEFITS OF THE SCIMITAR TIP
Originally developed in 2006, The Scimitar Tip is flattened edge at the fin's trailing end, tightens the turn arc by reducing the template's length. This complements the Reverse 3/2 foil's lift and speed design, enhancing the feeling of release from turns while maximizing the foil properties throughout the fin's template.
CANT
Cant at the fin base is 4 degrees, transitioning to 7 degrees at the tip = looser.
TOE
Toe at the fin base is in respect to the box placement, transitioning to 2 degrees less at the tip = tight, engaged.
